Services are provided in English, French, Polish, Russian, Mandarin, Italian, Spanish and many more languages. The program/service currently serves all ages. The program/service provides support and/or care for Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, Infectious Diseases (ie HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis-C), Neurological Disorders, Renal Disease, Respiratory Disease, Care for all conditions, Anticipatory Grief and Bereavement, Emotional/Spiritual Support, as well as specialized bereavement programs for the Indigenous community and the Rainbow community.
Overview of Programs and Services:
Hospice of Waterloo Region provides comfort, care and support to people affected by life-threatening illness and the bereaved. Services are offered in home, hospital, long term care facilities or at our Family Hospice Centre and are delivered by specially trained hospice volunteers and professional staff.
